REGINA - A local rugby player who expected that his new relationship would be roundly mocked and criticized by current and former teammates received a shock today when his fellows were congratulatory and supportive as he announced his new status online.

"I expected the team to comment 'dating girls is ghey' or 'she can do better'" said the rugby community member, "or maybe even just repeatedly typing "BUFFALO" since that's all rugby people seem to yell all the time."

Instead, the man was pleasantly shocked when his feed showed well wishes, compliments about the two being cute, and even comments on how she must appreciate the large size of his tool collection - specifically his hammer. Regarding the broader implications of this type of online behavior, the player stated "It's strange, you expect the guys who shit-talk you all the time in person to be even nastier online, just like the rest of the world. But if Rugby Bros can be classy in comments sections, why can't the rest of the world?"
