TORONTO - After two years of investigation following the accusation that Canadian small business owners and entrepreneurs to be "just rich tax cheats and wealthy doctors". Finance Minister Bill Morneau was proud to see that police were finally taking his assertions seriously when RCMP released a composite sketch of the alleged suspect.
According to RCMP, the man pictured above is alleged to be hiding a vast fortune in off-shore companies, international villas, anonymous numbered companies and millions of dollars in undisclosed shares from Morneau Shepell - a human resources and technology company. RCMP believe charges are unlikely to be laid, however, as the mystery person in the sketch has taken steps to obfuscate their wealth, in some cases issuing fraudulent statements to Canadians that the assets were in a blind trust. Upon investigation, RCMP confirmed that no such blind trust existed.
This as Canada continues to revel in its status of being the only western democracy to raise taxes on both citizens and small businesses during the pandemic. This came as of April 1st, when the Trudeau government proceeded with increasing the Federal Carbon Tax despite millions of Canadians with severely restricted incomes and many small businesses forced to curtail operations. These Canadian entrepreneurs are seeing little support available beyond the Prime Minister stating in his daily morning show: "We are with you".
When asked about the RCMP investigation and the increased taxes on small businesses, Minister Morneau replied, "Since the tax increases do not affect my multi-million dollar family business or the Prime Minister's multi-million dollar Trust Fund, I wish the RCMP luck in tracking down this mysterious criminal mastermind."
The investigation continues...
