NEW YORK – Marvel Comics announced their upcoming limited series event, to be titled Civil War 3: Superhero Vaccine Passport Registration. The 9-issue event will center around classic belligerents - Iron Man and Captain America – and their philosophical and moral views regarding heroes within the Marvel Universe and if they should have to show a Vaccine Passport to fight crime. This follows the 15-month crossover detailing the “Skrullvid” plague: a galaxy wide contagion that had been affecting heroes and villains alike.

“This is Marvel’s method to discuss the ongoing pandemic and how it affects society at large” said Kevin Feige, Marvel Entertainment CEO and architect behind the Marvel Cinematic Universe. “Iron Man will be in favor of Vaccine Passports, seeing the need to have superheroes respect the needs of the people of Earth, while Captain America fears that Vaccine Passports will infringe on heroes’ civil rights.”

Every aspect of the Marvel Comics Universe if expected to take part in the event, including characters such as Dr. Strange and Thor, who due to their Magical Background, have refused to take any vaccines on faith-based reasons. As such, they are trapped in their respective realms and unable to return to Earth because of Iron Man’s interventions.

Also featured is Professor X, who along with left-wing media company Roxxon, has used his telepathic powers to make the world believe that Skrullvid was not released by the Skrull Empire and grown in one of their biological weapons-labs but was a natural occurring instance from a Flerkin.
