VICTORIA - Green Party House Leader Elizabeth May unveiled her design for the Solar Powered Eco-Wing (SPEW) airplane that she says will eliminate the need for oil around the world. May, who recently declared that tourism would be able to become an economic generator on par with Canadian energy exports, had been pressed by reporters and critics on how supposed tourists would get to Canada without fossil fueled transport and not received a response.

May had also previously stated that Canada's energy needs could be met with wind and solar, despite frequent scientific evidence demonstrating that such a task was impossible without fossil fuels as a backup and power costs would skyrocket with no method for individuals to pay for it. May has been undaunted reminding detractors that "Ontarian's are only paying 170% more for their electricity after their green initiatives, even with the air being no cleaner there as a result, I'm sure its working. Also, the government isn't in debt and no one is having trouble making ends meet there."

Although May plans to unveil the planned aircraft shortly, she proudly rel;eased the schematics pictured above. The secret to the Solar Powered Eco-Wing, according to May, is "it comes with a Unicorn Horn Propeller Prop, absorbing sun-energy. Plus, when it hits a rainbow, it's supercharged!".
